A Power that spends 5 diamonds at cost 1 to gain 8 Plate. Plate is a permanent Block-like effect (a shield that accumulates instead of resetting each turn), so once installed it continuously mitigates damage.

5 diamonds is a heavy price on one card, but 8 Plate pays huge defensive dividends in long fights. Plan to stockpile diamonds with Genesis or Sealed Throne before casting. Multiple copies stack Plate into a rock-solid defensive line that absorbs big boss hits.

• Save up 5 diamonds before playing. With Genesis (2-3 per turn) you reach the threshold in 2-3 turns.
• Run multiple copies to stack Plate for ongoing damage reduction.
• Installing it in the mid-to-late game rather than the early game maximizes long-fight value.

• Genesis: Supplies 2-3 diamonds per turn, covering Neutron Aegis's 5-diamond cost within 2-3 turns.
• Sealed Throne: Gain 1 diamond whenever you play a card. On high-action turns 5 diamonds pile up fast.
• Rampart: Double up with regular Block and Plate for a layered defensive wall, dramatically boosting survivability.
