Vajra grants 1 Strength at the start of every combat. +1 Strength means every Attack card deals 1 more damage — and multi-hit cards gain +1 per hit, so decks with high attack counts get greater returns. In STS1 it was a very reliable Common relic, but in STS2 damage scaling has shifted and 1 Strength is worth a bit less. Even so, it's a permanent buff applied unconditionally in every fight, which makes it a solid Common pick. It pairs with Smooth Stone as a set — attack-heavy decks should prefer Vajra, defense-heavy decks prefer Smooth Stone.
