Complete Gem Guide

ジェム攻略ガイド

Gem System Overview

Gems are special enhancements you attach to cards at the Blacksmith. First add a gem slot to a card (costs coins), then purchase and slot a gem from the shop or Blacksmith. A single card can hold multiple gems, making gem setup the primary way to power-spike your core cards.

There are 63 gems total, split across five rarity tiers:

Rarity Count
Common 9
Uncommon 12
Rare 19
Very Rare 8
Ultra Rare 9

Higher rarity means stronger effect — and tougher unlock requirements.

Priority Ranking

S Rank — Game-changers

Wild Wild Turns its card into a wildcard that fits any cost position without breaking the combo chain. Universally strong; eliminates the most common cause of failed combos.

Free To Play Free To Play Makes the attached card cost 0 mana. Attach it to your highest-cost finisher and you can fire it regardless of mana state. Combine with Return for an infinitely recurring, free card every turn.

Return Return Card returns to hand after use. On a Mana Book, this creates a permanent mana-refill loop. The foundation of the strongest infinite-engine builds.

A Rank — Chase these actively

Echo Echo Replays the effect of the card played immediately before. Slot it after a big weapon in your combo sequence to double the damage. The real gain is multiplicative since combo multiplier applies to both plays.

Triple Damage Triple Damage Triples damage on the attached card. On a single-target heavy hitter at high combo depth, the math becomes enormous.

Decimate Decimate Deals 10% of the enemy's max HP. Independent of normal damage scaling, so it reliably chunks even the tankiest bosses.

Draw Draw Draw 1 card after playing. Keeps your combo chain flowing and prevents dead hands mid-combo.

Yin Yang Yin Yang Even-cost card played: gain 1 mana. Odd-cost card played: draw 1 card. Benefits virtually every hand composition, making it one of the best all-round gems.

B Rank — Strong in the right deck

Evolution Evolution Evolves the attached weapon. If you are building toward any evolved weapon, this gem is mandatory on that card.

Magnetic Magnetic Draw 1 extra card when you have another copy of this card in hand. Excellent in duplicate-heavy decks.

Leader Leader Draw a random card at the start of combat. Mild consistency boost for any deck wanting more hand size.

C Rank — Situational

Retain / Recycle Retain Recycle Depend on holding a large hand size. Strong in dedicated big-hand builds, otherwise niche.

Countdown / Magic Hat Countdown Magic Hat Reward spamming a specific card. Only useful when that card is a core part of your strategy.

How to Unlock the Blacksmith

To attach gems, you need two relics first:

  1. Gem Hammer — Required to attach any gem to any card. One of the highest-priority early relics.
  2. Stardust Anvil — Spawns the Blacksmith in the village, where you add slots and attach gems.

Once the Blacksmith is open, spend coins to add slots to your key cards, then buy gems from the shop or directly from the Blacksmith. Gem loadouts persist between runs, so invest once your core deck strategy is clear.
