Weapon Fusions & Unions Guide

武器フュージョン完全ガイド

Evolutions vs. Fusions

Vampire Crawlers has two tiers of weapon upgrades:

  • Evolution: Weapon card + matching passive item card. The standard upgrade path, available for most weapons.
  • Fusion / Union: Merging two or more weapons (usually evolved) with a catalyst item into a single, superior card. Fusion results carry distinct attack patterns that individually outclass their components.

Fusions demand more setup, but a completed fusion can single-handedly clear a run's hardest content.

Standard Evolution Recipes

Evolutions trigger automatically when you hold the weapon and its required passive item.

Fusion / Union Recipes in Detail

Phieraggi

Eight the Sparrow

Tirajisù
Tirajisù
Phieraggi
Phieraggi
  • Required: Phiera Der Tuphello + Eight the Sparrow + Tirajisù
  • Effect: Twin-pistol fusion. Delivers rapid multi-directional burst shots that hit all directions simultaneously. Each burst applies full combo multiplier.
  • Deck integration: Distribute the two pistol cards across 1-cost and 2-cost slots pre-fusion. Post-fusion, the card moves to 3-cost and acts as a premier finisher. Secure Tirajisù early for consistency.

Vandalier

Peachone
Peachone
Ebony Wings
Ebony Wings
Vandalier
Vandalier
  • Required: Peachone + Ebony Wings
  • Effect: Twin-bird AoE. Omnidirectional barrage hits all enemies on screen, clearing trash and chunking bosses simultaneously. One of the strongest TurboTurn finishers available.
  • Deck integration: Place Peachone (1-cost) and Ebony Wings (2-cost) in the chain's middle tiers. After fusion, the resulting 3-cost card slots naturally as the finisher.

Crimson Shroud

  • Required: Laurel + Metaglio Left + Metaglio Right
  • Effect: Defense-only union. Creates a permanent barrier that caps incoming damage at a fixed value (typically 4 per hit), effectively granting near-invulnerability. No offensive output.
  • Deck integration: Combine with offensive fusions — Phieraggi or Vandalier — to create a build that both attacks freely and absorbs all punishment. Optimal for high-difficulty runs.

Victory Sword

Gatti Amari

Stone Mask
Stone Mask
Victory Sword
Victory Sword
  • Required: Gatti Amari + Stone Mask
  • Effect: Consistent high-damage slashes replacing Gatti Amari's random cat proc. Trades unpredictability for reliable output.
  • Deck integration: Put the Gatti Amari equivalent at 1-cost, Stone Mask at 0-cost, and let TurboTurn sequence them naturally before fusion.

Building Toward Fusions

Fusions require collecting multiple specific cards, so planning from run start is essential.

Tip 1: Immediately grab fusion passives Fusion catalysts like Tirajisù and the Metaglio pair have low spawn rates. Always pick them on sight, even if they temporarily conflict with your current build.

Tip 2: Manage deck size during transition Pre-fusion, you're occupying 2-3 deck slots for cards that will later compress into one. Your mid-run deck will feel bloated. Adjust Mana Book count to keep the chain flowing.

Tip 3: Blacksmith timing Add gem slots to your fusion card immediately after it forms. Attaching Triple Damage or Wild to a fusion card multiplies an already-large damage number by another factor.

Fusion Ratings Summary

Fusion Damage Acquisition Difficulty Deck Compatibility
Phieraggi ★★★★★ ★★★☆☆ Mid–Advanced
Vandalier ★★★★☆ ★★☆☆☆ All difficulty levels
Crimson Shroud ★☆☆☆☆ (defense) ★★★★☆ High-difficulty only
Victory Sword ★★★☆☆ ★★★☆☆ Intermediate

Summary

Fusions represent the biggest power spikes in Vampire Crawlers. Vandalier is accessible for new players while Phieraggi rewrites how an entire run plays. Place any completed fusion at the 3-cost finisher position in your TurboTurn sequence for maximum combo amplification.
