Rating & Analysis
Hit the Road is a per-round burst xMult Joker. Unlike permanent scalers, the bonus resets to x1 at round end — but discard 4 Jacks (the standard deck count) and you get +x2.0 = x3 Mult for that round's hand. With Red Deck (+1 discard) and Merry Andy (+3 discards) you can spend multiple hands hunting for Jacks, scaling much higher.
The dream pairing is DNA + Hit the Road: DNA duplicates a Jack into the deck each round → Jack count climbs from 4 → 5 → 6 → ..., raising Hit the Road's per-round ceiling alongside. Add Pareidolia (all numbered cards count as face cards) and the pool effectively becomes the entire deck — explosive xMult.
Blueprint / Brainstorm copying Hit the Road doubles +x0.5/Jack. Tier lists rank Hit the Road A+/S in any discard-axis build. The $8 cost is standard; top-priority pickup for discard runs.

Tips & Usage
- Each round, prioritize hands that clear out Jacks first.
- Voucher path: Grabber → Nacho Tong, Wasteful → Recyclomancy expand discard counts.
- DNA duplicating Jacks raises the deck's Jack density.
- Pareidolia turns every numeric card into a Hit the Road target.
- Blueprint to its right doubles the xMult — devastating on Boss Blinds.
Caveats
- xMult resets to x1 every round — not a permanent scaler.
- Non-Jack discards don't count — strategic Jack management is required.
- Without Pareidolia, the deck's 4 Jacks cap the ceiling.
- Perishable Hit the Road becomes dead weight on expiry.
- Discard-limited builds (Blue Deck, -1 discard challenges) reduce viability.
