Rating & Analysis

The Trio is a hand-conditional xMult Jokerx3 Mult on any hand containing Three of a Kind. Three of a Kind, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush House, and Five of a Kind all qualify under the "contains" judgment. Reliability sits between Duo (Pair) and Family (Four of a Kind).

The dream stack is the all-hand-axis xMult build: Duo (Pair x2) + Trio (Three of a Kind x3) + Family (Four of a Kind x4) → Four of a Kind triggers all three for x2 × x3 × x4 = x24 Mult. Even Full House (Three of a Kind + Pair) yields Duo × Trio = x6 Mult, securing damage when Four of a Kind isn't reachable.

DNA's same-rank duplication chains Pair → Three → Four reliably. Emperor Tarot generates 2 same-rank cards directly. Blueprint / Brainstorm copying Trio yields effectively x9 Mult. Tier lists rate Trio A+. The $8 cost is fair; mandatory in hand-axis builds.

Tips & Usage

  • DNA-supported Three of a Kind reliability is the standard play.
  • Emperor Tarot (2 same-rank cards) makes Three of a Kind easy.
  • Duo + Trio combo gives "Pair x2, Three of a Kind x6" tiered damage.
  • Adding Family completes the all-hand-axis xMult stack.
  • Blueprint to Trio's right doubles xMult to x9 effective.

Caveats

  • Triggers only on Three of a Kind (contained) — Pair / High Card don't qualify.
  • Standard deck Three of a Kind requires some draw luck.
  • Perishable Trio is risky — losing the main xMult on expiry hurts.
  • Pure Flush / pure Straight (without Three of a Kind) don't fire Trio.
  • Stone cards (no rank/suit) don't count toward Three of a Kind detection.
