Vampire Ball Guide

Quick Reference

Attribute Value
Effect 4.5% chance to restore 1 HP per hit
Category Healing / Vampire
Solo Tier B
Evolution Tier S

Rating

Vampire Ball earns a B tier on its own. A 4.5% heal chance per hit sounds low, but it adds up over the course of a fight — especially in builds that rack up large hit counts through bounces or multi-enemy runs. It won't carry you solo, but the passive healing is a welcome bonus.

Where Vampire truly shines is its evolution lineup. Soul Sucker, Vampire Lord, Nosferatu (3-tier), and Reaper (3-tier) are all S-tier powerhouses, making Vampire one of the most valuable evolution catalysts in the game.

When to Pick

Pick Vampire whenever you can pair it with Ghost for Soul Sucker — that's the strongest and most accessible evolution. If you already have Vampire Lord or Nosferatu on the upgrade path, take it immediately. Even solo, the heal proc keeps your HP topped off across longer waves.

Avoid hard-committing to Nosferatu or Reaper unless you can realistically hit the 3-tier chain — the build investment is significant.

Evolutions

Soul Sucker (S)

  • Recipe: Vampire + Ghost
  • Effect: Massively amplified life steal; ball pierces all enemies while draining their HP
  • Notes: Best of the Vampire evolutions for accessibility. Ghost is independently strong, so you're combining two good balls into one great one.

Vampire Lord (S)

  • Recipe: Evolution
  • Effect: Enhanced vampiric effect with strong base damage
  • Notes: Direct upgrade path from Vampire. Go here if you can't get Ghost.

Nosferatu (S — 3-tier)

  • Recipe: Multi-stage evolution
  • Effect: Ultimate vampire form with extreme life steal and damage
  • Notes: High build investment, but the payoff is top-tier. Plan your upgrade chain early.

Mosquito King (A)

  • Recipe: Evolution
  • Effect: Amplified life steal that scales with consecutive hits
  • Notes: Excellent in builds with high hit frequency. The scaling makes it better the longer fights last.

Succubus (A)

  • Recipe: Evolution (Vampire + Charm line)
  • Effect: Life steal combined with enemy charm
  • Notes: Dual-role ball that controls enemies while healing. Works well with Charm synergy builds.

Mosquito Swarm (A)

  • Recipe: Evolution
  • Effect: Fires multiple small vampiric projectiles
  • Notes: Spread-fire style. Hits multiple enemies simultaneously, healing from all contacts.

Lovestruck (B)

  • Recipe: Multi-ball evolution
  • Effect: Combined evolution requiring multiple ball types
  • Notes: Lower priority due to material cost. Skip unless you already have the other ingredients.

Reaper (S — 3-tier)

  • Recipe: Multi-stage evolution
  • Effect: Combines life steal with instakill capability
  • Notes: Top-end power if you can reach the third tier. One of the strongest late-game balls overall.

Best Characters

  • Tanky characters: Vampire's healing helps sustain HP on characters that take repeated hits.
  • High hit-rate characters: More hits = more heal procs. Characters that bounce the ball frequently maximize the passive.
  • Ghost-paired builds: Characters that benefit from Pierce (Ghost) naturally synergize with Soul Sucker.

Recommended Passives

Passive Effect Why It Works
Life Steal Boost Increases HP recovered per proc Multiplies Vampire's natural healing
Extra Bounces More ball bounces per round More hits = more heal chances
Attack Speed Up Faster hit rate More procs per second stabilizes healing

Tips

  • Early game: The 4.5% heal is subtle but consistent. Start hunting for Ghost to unlock Soul Sucker.
  • Mid game: Vampire Lord is the simplest upgrade. Secure it if the Soul Sucker route isn't available.
  • Late game: Nosferatu and Reaper require 3-tier chains. Commit to one path early — trying to branch both is inefficient.
  • Build note: 4.5% is RNG-dependent. Pair with bounce/hit-frequency passives to stabilize healing output.

TL;DR

Solo Vampire is a B-tier ball with a minor healing passive, but its evolution lineup (Soul Sucker, Vampire Lord, Nosferatu, Reaper) is top-tier S. Prioritize Ghost + Vampire → Soul Sucker as the strongest and easiest route.
