3 Coppers spike +$3 and synergize with Coppersmith / Merchant Guild / Merchant — but pollute deck without trashing.

Reaction is one of the best curse-rush counters: attack triggers gain 2 Silvers, one topdecked.

How to Play

$2 turn — Beggar fits when Coppersmith / Merchant Guild / Merchant exists, or when curse-rush attacks loom.

Action-play: Beggar gives 3 Coppers in hand. Combos like Coppersmith multiply the burst.

Reaction-play: when opponent fires Witch / Mountebank, discard Beggar for 2 Silvers (one topdecked).

When to Pick / Skip

Pick when:

  1. Coppersmith / Merchant Guild / Merchant available.
  2. Curse-rush attack on board.
  3. Trasher available for cleanup.

Skip when:

  1. Engines that ignore Coppers.
  2. No trashing.
  3. No attacks (Reaction wasted).
