What is Synergy?
Synergy is the compounding effect created by combining multiple cards, relics, and potions. In Slay the Spire 2, each character has unique keywords that anchor their deck-building strategy. For example, Silent's "Sly" is a new keyword that triggers on discard, letting you chain cards without spending energy when paired with a discard engine.

Turns Exhausted cards into fuel. Use Corruption to play Skills for free, then draw with Dark Embrace. Strength stacking amplifies every Attack.
The new "Sly" keyword triggers on discard, enabling zero-energy card chains. Shivs, Poison, and a discard engine reinforce each other.
Wields five Orb types. Focus resets each turn in STS2, shifting strategy toward high-throughput Evoke combos and Plasma energy generation.
The bone hand "Osseous" handles both offense and defense. When Doom exceeds the enemy's current HP it triggers instant death — high risk, high reward.
Stars persist across turns as a unique resource. Build up Stars to unleash powerful Celestial spells and Sovereign Blade attacks.
