Rocket

Basic Info

Item Details
Act Act 2 (Hive)
HP 189 (Kaiser Crab right claw)
Type Boss (part of Kaiser Crab)

Attack Pattern

The Rocket is the right claw of Kaiser Crab, fought simultaneously with the Crusher (left claw). The player is always Surrounded, meaning attacks from behind deal 50% bonus damage — always face the arm about to hit hardest.

Turn Action
Turn 1 Attack — Medium single-target hit
Turn 2 Heavy Attack — Large single-target hit
Turn 3 Strength gain (Buff) — Self-buff that significantly amplifies the upcoming Nuke
Turn 4 Nuke — The highest-damage attack in the entire Kaiser Crab fight; extremely dangerous following the Turn 3 Strength buff
Turn 5 Reload — Minimal or no action; prepares for the next cycle
Onwards Cycle repeats

If either claw dies first — the surviving claw immediately gains +5 Strength and 99 Block (Enrage).

Strategy

  • Kill the Rocket first — The Rocket's Nuke is among the highest single-hit attacks in the game. With only 189 HP (less than the Crusher's 199), it is easier to eliminate and represents the bigger threat per HP. Always prioritize it.
  • Prepare maximum Block for Turn 4 Nuke — Once you see the Turn 3 Strength buff, shift your next turn entirely toward stacking Block. Surviving the Nuke turns the fight in your favor.
  • Face the Rocket on its dangerous turns — Turns 2 and 4 deal the most damage. Keep facing the Rocket on those turns to avoid the 50% Surrounded bonus damage hitting you from behind.
  • AoE is optimal — Cards hitting all enemies chip both claws simultaneously, letting you focus the Rocket while still making progress on the Crusher.

Recommended Counters

  • Focus fire on the Rocket first to eliminate the fight's primary damage source
  • After seeing Turn 3 Strength, dedicate Turn 4 entirely to maximum Block
  • Use AoE cards to damage both claws while maintaining Rocket focus
  • Apply Weak to the Rocket to reduce the Nuke's damage output significantly
  • After Enrage triggers, use the 99 Block turn defensively and prepare for the Strength-boosted surviving claw
