S-tier

A signature Defect combo card that deals 10 damage for 2 energy and pulls every 0-cost card from the discard pile back into your hand. The Defect has a deep bench of strong 0-cost cards — Beam Cell, Claw, Scrape, All-Business — and once a stack of them sits in the discard pile, one All for One recovers several powerful plays at once.

In Claw decks it's the core combo piece: fish a mountain of 0-cost Claws out of the discard, flood your hand, and play them in a single chain for enormous damage. It also pairs extremely well with Adaptive Strike's 0-cost copies and anchors the whole combo engine. The 10 damage is a side bonus — the real value is the recursion.

• Play it once the discard pile is stacked with 0-cost cards so you can reclaim a fistful of plays and dump them the same turn
• Essential combo piece in Claw decks: recover every Claw in the discard and aim for a one-turn kill
• Cards drawn off Skim that you can't afford to play can be intentionally discarded, then recovered with All for One
• With Beam Cell piling up in the discard, a full recovery lets you channel a wall of Orbs in one turn

• Claw: 0-cost attack. Once a few sit in the discard, bulk recovery plus repeated chains do huge damage
• Beam Cell: 0-cost Lightning/Frost Orb generator. Recover the pile and channel Orbs en masse
• All-Business: 0-cost Frost + 1 draw. Recover a stack and chain-play them for heavy Frost layering
• Adaptive Strike: its 0-cost copies accumulate in the discard. All for One pulls them all back for a spam turn
• Scrape: draws cards into the hand. Combined with All for One, it keeps a steady supply of 0-cost cards flowing
