Rating & Analysis
Splash makes all 5 played cards score, regardless of whether they're part of the poker hand. Normally a Flush only scores 5 same-suited cards; off-suit cards in the hand contribute 0 points. Splash lifts that restriction — every card scores.
The headline value is expanded trigger pool for on-score Jokers. Photograph (first face card x2 Mult), Sock and Buskin (face retrigger), Scary Face (+30 Chips per face) all fire on scored cards. Splash makes off-hand-component faces also score → all triggers cover the entire hand.
Enhancement cards (Bonus +30 Chips, Mult +4 Mult, Glass x2 Mult, Steel) also fire only on score, so Splash unlocks their full value across all 5 cards. At Common $3 — extremely cheap — Splash significantly raises a build's damage ceiling. Tier lists rate Splash A.
Good Joker Synergies
| Joker | Why |
|---|---|
| Photograph | First face x2 Mult — off-hand faces now trigger. |
| Sock and Buskin | Face retrigger — all faces qualify. |
| Scary Face | +30 Chips per face — all faces count. |
| Hiker | +5 Chips permanent on scored cards — all 5 cards. |
| Enhancement cards (Bonus / Mult / Glass etc.) | Enhancement effects fire on score — all 5 fully active. |

Recommended Builds

| Photograph + Splash | Off-hand faces also trigger x2 Mult | Enhancement Tarots |
| Hiker + Splash | All 5 cards gain +5 Chips permanent | Enhancement Tarots |
| Vampire + Splash | 5 enhanced cards → +x0.5 Mult per round | Justice Tarot |
Tips & Usage
- Strongest as reinforcement for builds already running on-score Jokers.
- $3 is so cheap that early-game pickup is essentially zero risk.
- With many enhanced cards, Splash multiplies their effective value massively.
- Stone cards score on their own already — Splash adds little here.
- Hiker / Photograph / Sock and Buskin parallel scaling boosts damage exponentially.
Caveats
- Solo Splash generates no damage — needs trigger Jokers.
- Builds without on-score effects waste Splash.
- Perishable Splash is risky — expansion stops on expiry.
- All 5 cards firing increases consumable Mult / Chip computations subtly — double-check edge cases.
- Stone cards (already independent) gain nothing from Splash.
