Rating
Inferno is a top-class wave annihilator. A single hit spreads burn to all enemies in a 2-tile radius, dramatically accelerating wave clear. Burn lasts 6 seconds at 3–6 dmg/sec, so against grouped enemies the total damage scales multiplicatively with mob count.
Inferno is a "spread-burn applier" rather than a "single-burst AoE", which means it coexists with Magma (zone control) seamlessly. Inferno hits airborne and moving enemies; Magma locks down ground areas. Run both for total area denial.
The Frozen Flame combo deserves special mention: Frozen Flame's +25% global damage debuff boosts every burn tick from 3–6 → 3.75–7.5 per second. An 8-stack target eats 30–60 sustained damage per second, melting bosses and elites alike.
