Rating
Big Mushroom is an Event relic: on pickup you lose 15 HP but 3 random cards are Upgraded. A trade-off relic that instantly reinforces the deck. Losing 15 HP is not trivial, but if the Upgrades land on cards that dramatically transform, the trade pays off. Randomness can sting — if the Upgrade targets a starter Strike, it feels like a waste.

Comment |
| Ironclad |
B |
High HP pool makes the 15 loss relatively light, and Upgrade value is big |
| Silent |
C |
HP is often tight, so 15 damage can be fatal |
| Defect |
B |
Hitting a Power card for Upgrade is very strong |
| Necrobinder |
D |
Lowest max HP (66) in the cast — 15 damage is dangerous. Pick risk is too high |
| Regent |
C |
Average HP, but the randomness plus HP cost balance feels awkward |
Synergies
| Card / Relic |
Reason |
| High-cost cards |
Cards like cost-reducers or damage boosters gain big value from Upgrades |
| Reaping |
For Ironclad, Reap heals back the lost HP while the deck strengthens |
| Self-Forming Clay |
Block triggers on HP loss, softening the downside |
Notes
Take it only when HP has room to spare. Upgrade pools exclude already-Upgraded cards, so prepping the deck with Upgrades beforehand helps target the good cards.
