Kin Priest Pattern

Turn Action
Turn 1 Apply Frail — Debuffs the player with Frail
Turn 2 Apply Weak — Debuffs the player with Weak
Turn 3 Attack x3 — Three-hit combo dealing high total damage
Turn 4 Strength +2–3 — Permanently boosts future attack damage
Onwards Repeats the Turn 1–4 cycle

Kin Followers

  • Left Follower: Gains Strength on Turn 1 (no attack) — then attacks from Turn 2 onward
  • Right Follower: Attacks from Turn 1
  • Both Followers have low HP and should be prioritized targets

Strategy

  • Kill the Left Follower first — The left Follower buffs with Strength on Turn 1 but doesn't attack, making it easy to overlook. Left unchecked, its growing Strength makes later turns dangerous. Kill it before the right.
  • AoE trivializes the fight — Cards that hit all enemies let you clear both Followers in 1–2 turns, reducing the fight to a Priest solo which is far more manageable.
  • Defend through Frail/Weak turns — During the Priest's Turn 1 and 2, prioritize building Block. Frail increases incoming damage, making underprepared turns very punishing.
  • Brace for the Turn 3 triple hit — If any Followers are still alive on Turn 3, you'll take hits from multiple enemies at once. Ensure you have enough Block before the Priest's Turn 2 ends.

Recommended Counters

  • Use AoE cards to clear both Followers early and isolate the Priest
  • Target the Left Follower (Strength buffer) before the Right Follower
  • Apply Weak to the Priest early to reduce the Turn 3 triple-hit damage
  • Stack Block before the Priest's Turn 3 to absorb the three-hit combo
  • Aggressive openers that deal multi-target damage are highly effective here
