A beetle-type enemy that starts asleep. While asleep, it applies debuffs via Snore. Once awake, it attacks with Roll Out for 16 damage.

Asleep, it spreads debuffs with Snore. After turns pass or 3+ damage lands, it wakes up and starts the powerful Roll Out.

Strategy

  • Drowsy wakes it at 3+ damage. You can control wake-up timing.
  • Accumulated Snore debuffs hurt, so waking it early to kill is a valid plan.
  • Alternatively, if other enemies are out, ignore Slumbering Beetle and handle them first, then Focus the Beetle last.
  • Roll Out's 16 damage is significant. Thicken defense after it wakes up.
  • HP 86 is moderately durable. You need damage to finish fast once it wakes.
  • Under 3 damage keeps it asleep, but that's rarely practical.
