"Green"
- Gain 3 Silent cards
"Blue"
- Gain 3 Defect cards
"Pink"
- Gain 3 Necrobinder cards
"Orange"
- Gain 3 Regent cards
"They are all the same"

Recommended Choice
Picking your own character's color and taking 3 same-color cards is the most stable play. Same-color cards come with guaranteed synergy with your deck, so duds are rare.
"They are all the same" and taking Prism Gem is an advanced option built around leveraging off-color cards. If Prism Gem fits the run's direction it is worth considering, but weigh it against the immediate power of 3 cards.
Intentionally picking another character's color is only valid when you know a specific synergy card lives in that color. Off-color cards run into Energy color-matching issues, so the risk is usually high.
Strategy
- The guiding principle is to pick your own character's color. Adding 3 cards increases your deck size, but a useful card is likely to be in there
- The 3 cards are random, so some may be duds. If your deck is already complete and you do not want to add cards, Prism Gem may be better
- Prism Gem uses a Relic slot but its effect is permanent. Weigh a temporary reinforcement of 3 cards against the long-term benefit of a Relic
- Using off-color cards requires knowledge of Energy management. Beginners should stick with their own color
