Rating

A-tier

A Power that deals 6 AoE damage (8 upgraded) at each turn's end as long as a Frost Orb exists. It becomes a continuous damage engine for Frost-focused decks.

Frost builds tend to lean defensive, but Hailstorm adds genuine offense. Even with slots loaded with multiple Frost Orbs, the trigger fires as long as one remains. Upgraded to 8 damage, the cumulative damage in long fights spikes sharply.

How to Use

  • Run in Frost-focused decks for continuous turn-end damage
  • Keep Frost flowing with Glacier, Blizzard, or similar Channel cards
  • AoE damage ends multi-enemy fights quickly
  • Upgraded 8 damage dramatically boosts cumulative damage over long fights

Good Synergies

  • Glacier: Frost generation plus draw. Keeps Frost active so Hailstorm fires every turn
  • Blizzard / Cryogenic: Frost Channel cards. Reliably maintain Hailstorm's trigger
  • Defragment: Focus up raises Frost Block and Hailstorm's attack
  • Loop: Retriggers rightmost Orb passive. With Frost rightmost, more Block too
  • Coolant: Start-of-turn Block scales with unique Orb types. Hailstorm's damage and Coolant's Block mesh
