5 diamonds is a heavy price on one card, but 8 Plate pays huge defensive dividends in long fights. Plan to stockpile diamonds with Genesis or Sealed Throne before casting. Multiple copies stack Plate into a rock-solid defensive line that absorbs big boss hits.
