Frenzy Charm

Basic Info

Frenzy Charm grants x2 Frenzy and adds Consume to the equipped unit. Frenzy causes the unit to perform its action twice instead of once. Combined with Consume, the unit activates its ability twice in one go — then disappears.

Rating: A

x2 Frenzy doubles every output from the unit — Attack, debuff application, healing, Overload, all of it. This is an enormous multiplication factor. On a unit that deals 5 damage per hit, Frenzy makes it deal 5 damage twice in a single activation (10 total). On a unit that applies 3 Snow, it applies 6 Snow in one activation.

The Consume cost is significant but often acceptable. The question is whether double activation of the unit's effect in one turn is worth losing it permanently. For units with powerful single-activation effects, one x2 burst is often more valuable than many repeated smaller activations.

Frenzy Charm also works on Consume units already — stacking Frenzy on a Cake Charm unit or a natural Consume unit means the boosted Consume effect fires twice before disappearing, which can be a finishing move.

How to Use / What to Put On

Target units with high-value effects per activation. A 5-Attack unit becomes a 10-damage burst. A 3-Snow applier becomes a 6-Snow applier. A healing unit heals twice.

Consider timing: Consume means you use the unit once, so save the activation for a critical moment — when you need maximum burst damage or debuff stacking.

Good Synergy

  • Cake Charm: Boost effects by 4, then Frenzy fires the boosted effect twice — potentially enormous
  • Boonfire Charm: Frenzy fires the Consume trigger twice, meaning 2x Overload to all enemies
  • Battle Charm: Higher base Attack means each Frenzy hit is more powerful
  • Any high-value per-activation unit: Frenzy doubles whatever the unit does best
