Pomegranate Charm grants バラージ (Barrage), which causes the card's attack and effects to hit all enemies in the front row simultaneously, at the cost of -2 Attack.

The Attack reduction is a real cost but Barrage often compensates and then some. Against two or more enemies, the total damage output of a バラージ card exceeds a single-target attack of the same value. Against three enemies, even a significantly reduced attack creates far more total damage than focusing one target.

More importantly, Barrage applies to status effects as well as damage. A Shroom-applying card with Barrage afflicts the entire front row with Shroom per action. The same applies to Snow, Spice, and any other effect the card delivers. This is where Pomegranate Charm's true power lies.

A tier. One of the best charms for status-effect-focused builds and remains strong in attack-focused builds when multiple enemies are present.

Prioritize attaching to cards that apply Shroom, Snow, or other valuable status effects. The front-row spread of status effects dramatically accelerates how quickly enemies are debilitated or killed by poison ticks.

For pure attack cards, use Barrage when you consistently face multiple front-row enemies and the -2 Attack leaves the card with enough damage to be meaningful.
