Lil' Gazi
Basic Info
- Tribe: Pets
- Attack: 4
- HP: 3
- Counter: 4
- Effect: Active during, all ally Attack +1
Rating
S-tier passive Attack multiplier for the entire party. While Lil' Gazi is on the field, every ally gains +1 Attack permanently for as long as Gazi stays alive. At 4 Attack herself and Counter 4, she also contributes direct damage. The passive's value compounds with Frenzy: Foxee with x3 Frenzy at 4+1 Attack = 5 Attack × 3 hits = 15 damage per activation, versus 4 × 3 = 12 without Gazi. Each +1 from Gazi is +3 effective damage per Foxee activation, +5 per Tiny Tyko activation at high Frenzy, and +N for every companion's total attack frequency multiplied by their hit count.
HP 3 is her critical weakness. Front-row enemies kill Gazi in one hit, immediately removing the +1 Attack from all allies. The passive vanishes the moment she dies — losing Gazi mid-fight is a significant damage drop. Her entire value is survivability: she must stay alive for the passive to work.
Any Pets run benefits from Gazi, and any tribe run with Frenzy-heavy companions in the same pick pool should prioritize her. The Attack +1 also applies to summoned units (Clunkers, Shades, other tokens) — in boards with many units, Gazi's passive multiplies across all of them simultaneously.
How to Use
Back row — HP 3 cannot survive front-row exposure. Keep Gazi in the furthest-back position possible. Multiple front-row tanks between Gazi and the enemy front line maximize her survival window.
HP investment on Gazi is the most impactful charm investment in the game relative to total run value. +4 HP (3 → 7 HP) changes Gazi from "dies to any hit" to "survives 2–3 moderate hits." Each extra HP point on Gazi = more turns of party-wide +1 Attack = additional cumulative damage across all party activations.
Block items or Shell from Jumbo are particularly valuable applied to Gazi — they absorb one hit that would otherwise kill her instantly, extending her passive by 1–3 more turns.
4 Attack at Counter 4 contributes solid direct damage while her passive operates. She's not a pure support — she attacks and deals 4 damage every 4 turns while buffing the entire party simultaneously.
Advanced Techniques
Gazi + Frenzy synergy math. Foxee with x3 Frenzy: baseline 4 Attack = 12 damage per activation, with Gazi = 5 Attack × 3 = 15 (+3 per activation). Tiny Tyko at x5 Frenzy: without Gazi = 4 × 5 = 20, with Gazi = 5 × 5 = 25 (+5 per activation). In fights where Tyko fires 4 times, Gazi adds 20 total damage from Tyko's activations alone.
Protect Gazi above all else. In a fight where Gazi is threatened, use HP items, Shell items, or any survival resource on Gazi before using them on damage carries. One turn of Gazi survival is more damage than 2 heals on Firefist.
Good Synergy Cards & Charms
- HP-up charms — each +HP on Gazi is the highest-return charm investment in any party that includes her; survival = party DPS
- Foxee / Tiny Tyko — Frenzy multiplies Gazi's +1 Attack across every hit; highest-value Gazi synergy targets
- Shell / Block sources — Jumbo's Shell, Ice Dice, any Block on Gazi absorbs a hit that would otherwise kill her
- Booshu — healing Gazi from 1 HP back to 4+ HP keeps her alive through sustained damage phases
- Roibos — Roibos buffs lowest-Attack ally; if Gazi's passive raises other allies' Attack, Roibos continues buffing whoever falls behind, synergizing with Gazi's party-wide raise
