Stage Details
Tutorial stage. Learn ball firing, wall reflection, and enemy targeting. No synergies or special gimmicks — pure fundamentals.
Skip elemental upgrades. Prioritize projectile-count upgrades for your base ball to feel out how more balls equals more stability.
Forest Sprites (small, fast): Multiple spawn at once, but wall bounces will naturally connect.
Grumpy Goblin uses only slow linear movement. Simply bounce balls off the walls into it — no complex mechanics.
Grassland Slimes, Goblin Scouts, Forest Sprites
Starter ball projectile count +1, initial passive selection
Elemental balls debut. Fire, Ice, and Lightning introduce synergy mechanics. Committing to a build direction here is critical.
Decide your core element here. Fire (DoT/AoE), Ice (slow/bounce assist), or Lightning (chain/shield break). Begin collecting synergy items for your chosen element.
Chain Shielder: Blocks frontal hits while shielded. Use pierce balls or Lightning synergy to break shields quickly.
Market Bandit uses dash attacks. Burst damage during post-dash recovery. Avoid staying in the center — chained dashes will corner you.
Alley Goblins, Market Guards, Chain Shielders
One elemental ball (Fire/Ice/Lightning), synergy activation items, passive selection
DoT (damage-over-time) enemies dominate. Multiple poison and burn sources now threaten the player. Speed of clearing becomes important.
Fire synergy excels here. Burn stacks clear the boss quickly. DoT-centric builds (Wretched Onion, Sisyphus) also thrive in this environment.
Corrosion Slime: Explodes with poison on death. Keep distance when killing clusters.
Toxic Gardener periodically spreads poison clouds. Weave through the clouds while maintaining distance. Fire/Lightning balls deal continuous damage. Aim for a fast kill.
Poison Shrooms, Burning Bats, Corrosion Slimes
Poison/bleed balls, Wretched Onion (passive), DoT amplifier items
Shield-bearing mechanical enemies are everywhere. Frontal normal damage is blocked. Use pierce balls, Lightning synergy, or off-angle hits to bypass shields.
Pierce builds (Veteran main) are most efficient — piercing damage hits all enemies simultaneously even through shields. Lightning synergy chains are strong after shield removal.
Armored Robot: Shield + high HP. When multiple appear, pierce-based clearing is more efficient than single-target focus.
Iron Overseer maintains an omnidirectional shield and periodically drops it to charge. Burst all damage during the window. Shields immediately re-engage after the charge.
Armored Robots, Shield Drones, Steam Golems
Iron/Steel balls, Ether Mantle (passive), building upgrade materials
Undead enemies revive after death while necromancers are alive. Necromancer priority is the key — eliminate them first to stop the resurrection loop.
Holy or Fire synergy ensures permanent undead kills. A pierce build to quickly eliminate necromancers is also viable. Burst builds handle the heavy mob spawns well.
Lich Necromancer: Ignored ones cause endless skeleton revival. Top priority target. Slow but high HP — sustained damage required.
Bone Reaper alternates between wide scythe swipes and summoning mini-skeletons. Sidestep the sweeps; clear mini-skeletons immediately during summon phase, then focus the boss.
Skeleton Warriors, Zombie Spawners, Lich Necromancers
Bandage and summon passives, meta currency bonus drops (higher than other stages)
Stage-specific mechanic: multiple elites (3–5× normal HP, high damage) appear simultaneously. Single-target focus while dodging other elites is the winning strategy.
Burst builds (Crit Impale, Dark Volley) enable fast single-target kills. DoT builds can stack on multiple elites simultaneously, but may struggle if damage rate is too low.
Ballista Operator: Fires long-range arrows from the screen edge. Move to dodge targeting or prioritize an early kill with pierce balls.
Knight Commander alternates between a 180° sword sweep and summoning 4 knights simultaneously. Always clear knights first during summon phase. Retreat to dodge the sweep.
Castle Knights, Elite Guards, Ballista Operators
Rare synergy items (S/A-tier exclusive), elite drops (random legendary)
Stage-specific gimmick: lava floor zones deal HP damage per second. Positioning around lava areas is required. Enemies have high HP and many have fire resistance.
Exploit Ice/Water synergy against fire resistance, or push through with pure physical/pierce builds. Fire builds lose efficiency here. Movement speed passives help navigate lava zones.
Lava Spitter: Fires multiple lava projectiles in spread patterns. Thread between shots to approach, or use pierce builds for long-range kills.
Magma Titan has 3 phases: ① Lava projectiles (ranged) ② Earthquake (floor damage) ③ Fire pillar summons (localized high-damage zones). Watch for pillar telegraphs and reposition.
Magma Golems, Lava Spitters, Fire Wings
Legendary balls (Stage 7+ exclusive drops), permanent upgrade unlock tickets
The final stage combines all previous mechanics: lava zones, shielded enemies, undead revival, and multiple elites. Pit Lord is the hardest boss with 3 fully distinct attack phases.
Arrive with a fully assembled build. Healing items (Bandage, recovery passives) are essential. Top-tier synergies like Infinite Bounce Amplification or Crit Impale are ideal.
Void Walker: Deploys a void field that nullifies basic attacks. Only synergy-triggered special damage (crit, DoT, instakill) works inside. Avoid fighting in the void field.
Phase 1: 5-shot lava barrage (dodge at wall). Phase 2: Darkness field (limited visibility) + summons. Phase 3: Full-screen attack chain with moving safe zones. Brief opening at each phase transition.
Pit Demons, Void Walkers, Chaos Elementals, Pit Lord
Highest rarity items across all categories, ending credits, Endless Mode unlock (post-Regal Update)
Stage Selection Strategy
Elite encounters are risky but reward rare drops, more meta currency, and powerful synergy items. Once your build stabilizes, opt for elites to accelerate item collection.
Stages 1–3: choose normal fights for stable resource gain and build foundation. Early elite losses deal HP damage that can be fatal in later boss fights.
Below 30% HP, always visit the shop. Buy healing items if available. At full HP, certain legendary items are worth an immediate buy regardless.
Skipping a stage forfeits its exclusive drops. If a key build item only drops in a specific stage, don't skip it.
