Rating
Rating: 4/5
An excellent card that deals 5 damage (6 upgraded) for 0 cost with a conditional draw. Played early in the turn (within the first 3 plays, or 4 after upgrade), it grants an extra draw.
Its damage is high for a 0-cost attack, and the draw condition is easy to meet if played early. It synergizes well with 0-cost enablers like All for One and Scrape, making it a versatile pick even outside Claw decks. Upgrading relaxes the condition to under 4 cards played, making the draw much easier to trigger.
How to Use
- Play early in the turn to secure the extra draw, then build combos with other cards
- Since it is 0-cost, you can gain both damage and draw without spending Energy
- Use All for One to recover multiple copies from the discard pile and play them early in the turn
- Upgrading relaxes the draw condition to under 4 cards played, improving usability
Good Synergies
- All for One: Recovers every FTL from your discard. Replayed early in the turn, they still grant the draw
- Wild: Returns a 0-cost attack to your hand each turn
- Scrape: Since FTL is 0-cost, drawn copies stay in hand
- Machine Learning: Stabilizes access to FTL through an extra draw each turn
