Rating

A Cost 1 skill that Exudes a card and draws 2 (3 upgraded). "1 cost + 1 Exude" effectively yields 1 net draw (2 upgraded). A universal Exude-deck card that both triggers Exude synergy and secures draw. Functions as a general trigger for Ash Strike's Exude count, Evil Eye's bonus condition, Feel No Pain's Block, and many other Exude synergies. Also converts unwanted hand cards into draws, rotating the deck. Near-mandatory in Exude decks.

How to Use

Exude unwanted cards (spent Exude attacks, starter junk) or trigger Exude synergies. When using Evil Eye the same turn, play Searing Contract first to satisfy the Exude condition, then Evil Eye for guaranteed bonus. With Feel No Pain, Exude triggers Block — Searing Contract grants both draw and Block efficiently. With Dark Embrace, Exude triggers a draw — Searing Contract's Exude adds 1 more draw (total 3-4 draw effect).

Good Synergies

  • Evil Eye: Skill granting bonus Block if you Exuded this turn. Searing Contract Exude then Evil Eye is a strong combo.
  • Ash Strike: Exude-count x3-4 damage Attack. Searing Contract's Exude builds count, boosting Ash Strike.
  • Feel No Pain: Power granting Block on Exude. Every Searing Contract auto-stacks Block too.
  • Dark Embrace: Power drawing on Exude. Searing Contract's Exude adds 1 more draw.
  • War Drum: Turn-start Exude power. Searing Contract plays a key role in raising Exude frequency in the deck.
