Rating
A power card that converts HP loss into damage. Every HP-sacrifice card (Bloodletting, Blood for Blood) triggers AoE damage, making it a centerpiece of HP-loss decks. Especially strong against multiple enemies, and the automatic turn-start damage is excellent.
How to Use
Set it up early to convert all subsequent HP loss into damage. Just spamming Bloodletting stacks AoE damage rapidly.
Pick Priority
- Early Act 1: Medium priority. With few HP-loss cards, you only get about 1 damage per turn.
- Late Act 1: High priority. Damage explodes once Bloodletting and Blood for Blood appear.
- Act 2+: High priority. Once the HP-loss deck is formed, AoE damage accumulates every turn.
- Boss reward: Medium priority. Weigh against rarer options, but HP-loss decks should secure it.
Good Synergies
- Bloodletting: 0-cost HP loss + damage trigger.
- Blood for Blood: Block while triggering damage.
- Rupture: Shared HP-loss counter.
- Searing Blow: HP loss every turn for damage.
