Rating
A straightforward heal card — Cost 2 to recover 10 HP. Ironclad has many cards that consume HP for advantage (Offering, Bloodletting, Crimson Robe), so having a recovery option raises their combined value. On its own it can't swing a losing battle, but it supports HP-consumption builds and helps top off HP before a boss. Upgraded heals 13, slightly improving the cost-to-value ratio.
From mid Act 1 onward, it's a consideration in builds that deliberately spend HP. Keep copies to 1 to avoid clogging the deck.
How to Use
- Use after intentional HP loss from Offering, Bloodletting, or Crimson Robe
- Handy for topping up HP between boss fights when campfires aren't available
- Can offset the cumulative damage from Demon Form (1 HP/turn for Strength)
- At Cost 2 it's expensive — avoid in Energy-tight decks
Good Synergies
- Offering: Spends 6 HP for big draw. Not Yet reclaims the loss
- Bloodletting: Repeated uses drain HP. Not Yet provides a recovery safety net
- Crimson Robe: Constant turn-start HP drain that Not Yet can offset
- Corruption / Demon Form: Sustained HP cost sources that make healing worthwhile
Pick Priority
- Act 1: Low. Natural regen at campfires and relics often suffices early
- Act 2+: Medium. In established HP-consumption builds the value rises
- Boss reward: Low. Offensive cards and powerful Powers should take priority
Recommended Builds
Ironclad HP-consumption build recovery — the rarest card type in STS2: direct HP healing.
- HP Cost Build (Ironclad): Offering/Bloodletting/Crimson Robe drain HP; Not Yet is the one-shot recovery valve.
- High Ascension Survival Build: HP healing is scarce at high difficulty. Not Yet's 10/13 HP can decide runs.
- Demon Form Sustain Build: Demon Form costs 1 HP/turn. Not Yet offsets cumulative damage.
