Like Pride, a plain hand-clogger curse that is Unremovable but has no extra effects. It is handed out as the cost of an enormous reward — 3 relics — so the rate is quite favorable. Being Unremovable means you cannot cut it from the deck, but all it does is shave 1 hand slot on draw. No damage or debuff. Thicken the deck and the draw frequency drops, and 3 relics almost always outweighs a single dead card. Calling Bell is generally a free-roll blessing worth accepting.

• Ancient being Darv's blessing "Calling Bell": gives 1 Curse of the Bell plus 3 relics at once. Darv appears at the start of Act 2 or Act 3; 3 relics is an absurd reward compared to other blessings. Since the curse's downside is small, Calling Bell is the steadiest pick among Darv's options
• Curse of the Bell is unique to this relic and does not appear in other events or random curse rolls

• Unremovable means deck removal is impossible. Accept it as the price of 3 relics
• Thicken the deck: adding more cards reduces the chance of drawing Curse of the Bell
• Blue Candle: playable for 1 HP, but Unremovable cards cannot be Exuded. You can only temporarily drop it from hand
• Calling Bell decision: 3 relics is a huge benefit, so there is almost no reason to refuse it. Only consider refusing in extremely thin decks (<=15 cards)

• Blue Candle: cannot Exude due to Unremovable, but can still eat it from hand for 1 HP to free the slot
• Fire Breathing (Ironclad): deals damage every time you draw Curse of the Bell
• Darkstone Periapt: +6 HP when gaining a curse. Curse of the Bell deals no damage so the +6 is pure upside
• Du-Vu Doll: +1 Strength per curse in the deck. Since this curse cannot be removed, it becomes a stable Strength source
• 3 relics: the 3 relics acquired alongside Curse of the Bell are the real payload. They vastly exceed the curse's downside
