Overview

A minion-controlling boss whose two axes are stealing your cards and relics with her Puppet Strings and summoning powerful minions. 400 HP is extreme, and you must grind her down under heavy card restrictions.

Chains of Restraint restrains the first 3 cards you draw each turn. Restrained cards cost more or have limited effects, so of your 5-card hand only about 2 cards are truly free to play.

Puppet Strings converts your own resources into her power. Summoned minions like Torch Head Amalgam have 199 HP — very tough. Unchecked, the Queen plus minions stack up painful per-turn damage.

Strategy

Countering Chains of Restraint makes card draw crucial. With 3 of 5 hand cards restrained, you only have 2 free cards — but adding draw lets you dig for unrestrained options. Draw cards and relics spike in value this fight.

Minion Focus vs. body Focus decides the fight. 199 HP minions are hard to shave down, but ignoring them stacks lethal turn damage. AoE that chips both simultaneously is efficient. With single-target only, body-Focus is the default unless a minion's action is immediately lethal.

Puppet Strings stealing relic effects undermines your deck plan. Powers and auto-effect relics are especially punishing to lose. Plan resource usage assuming key relics can be stolen.

Shaving 400 HP under Restraint is slow, so scaling is mandatory. Drop powers before Restraint turns hit — they keep pumping damage regardless of what gets locked.

Character Tips

  • Ironclad: Extra draw softens Restraint. AoE shines for hitting minions and body at once. Burn Strength buffs on unrestrained turns ASAP.
  • Silent: Strong Innate draw pairs well with Restraint. Acrobatics and Backflip refill your hand so your unrestrained 2 cards aren't your only plays. Stack Poison on the body.
  • Defect: Orb damage ignores Restraint. Frost + Lightning covers both offense and defense while dealing passive damage every turn — build Focus early.
  • Necrobinder: A minion war. Use your minions to clear hers while chipping the body. Your minions' attacks are unaffected by Restraint, maintaining damage on locked turns.
  • Regent: Dump powers early to dodge Restraint — powers continue working regardless. Plan draw to cover turns where new powers get restrained.
