Overview

  • Passive: Personal Hive — When this enemy is hit by an Attack, add one Dizzy to your draw pile.

Personal Hive radically restricts how you play. Every Attack card you use buries a Dizzy in your deck, so hitting harder also means choking your draws. On top of that the Entomancer summons bee minions, adding more targets to juggle.

Pheromone Spit applies a debuff while Bee Swarm pumps out bee minions to increase incoming attacks. Left alone, the bees pile up and your per-turn damage taken balloons.

Strategy

  • Countering Personal Hive is the top priority. Because every Attack adds a Dizzy, you want a build that deals big damage in few hits.
  • Non-Attack damage sources like Poison or orbs completely bypass Dizzy generation. Characters with these tools have a huge edge here.
  • If you leave the bees alive, the incoming damage snowballs. Decide whether to clear bees first or burst down the main body based on your build.
  • Even clearing bees with Attacks adds Dizzy. AoE attacks that hit the body and the bees at once are the most efficient.
  • Spear at 18 is painful, and becomes even scarier after Pheromone debuffs. Keep Block up every turn.
  • Your biggest loss condition is Dizzy clogging your hand. Avoid long fights.

Character Tips

  • Ironclad: Few high-damage Attacks minimize hit count. AoE that clears bees and chips the body reduces total Dizzy generation.
  • Silent: Poison ignores Personal Hive entirely — optimal. Poison the body and clear bees with the minimum necessary Attacks.
  • Defect: Orb damage is not an Attack, so it bypasses Dizzy. Orb-centric play is almost a free win here.
  • Necrobinder: Minion attacks are not affected by Personal Hive. Minion-focused strategy crushes this elite.
  • Regent: Power-based damage-over-time does not trigger Dizzy. Power-heavy builds are ideal.
