Choices
Approach→ Enchant an Attack with Corrupted
Kill with Fire→ Choose a card to Transform
Choices
Approach
- Enchant 1 Attack with Corruption (applies Poison to enemies when played)
Burn with Flame
- Choose 1 card and transform it (replaced with a different card)
Leave
- No effect
Recommended Choice
If you are running a Poison deck or a character with Poison synergy, "Approach" and the Corruption enchantment is very strong. Attaching it to your main Attack means every attack turn stacks Poison. Poison drops by 1 at the end of a turn after damage resolves, so repeated application keeps it at a lethal level and becomes a monster damage source.
If there is no Poison synergy, "Burn with Flame" to transform a card is the stable option. Pick a dead card to transform and you raise the deck's average quality. The transformation target is random, but feeding it a clearly Weak card like Strike or Defend means the result will usually be an upgrade on average.
Strategy
- Ideally attach Corruption to a main Attack you play every turn. The more often you play it, the more Poison stacks up
- Even outside a Poison deck, the incidental Poison damage during long boss fights is not nothing. If you have cards or Relics that amplify Poison, the value spikes
- Card transform lets you pick the target, which is the upside. Use it to swap out starter cards or dead picks
- Card transform is randomness-heavy, so in a near-finished deck the transform itself can be a risk. Only take it if you can tolerate a mismatched result
- If neither option fits the deck, "Leave" is fair. A botched transform can hurt more than doing nothing, so sticking with the current deck is sometimes the safer play
