Mime Charm is one of the most creative and high-ceiling charms in Wildfrost, with a rating that swings wildly based on deck composition. It replaces the effects of the equipped card with the effects of a randomly chosen Companion from your deck or reserve — meaning whatever abilities that Companion had are now grafted onto the host card.

The core power fantasy is attaching Mime Charm to a frequently-acting card with a weak effect, then copying the effect of your strongest Companion to effectively run multiple copies of that Companion's ability. This can lead to absurdly consistent damage or status application that would normally be gated behind a single Companion.

The downside is randomness. If your deck has many Companions with mediocre effects, the expected value of Mime Charm drops. Building your deck with intention — including at least two or three Companions with effects worth copying — is essential to reliably using Mime Charm.

High-risk, high-reward. B tier on average, A tier in the right deck.

Attach to cards that act frequently and have low-value effects of their own. Short Counter cards that fire every one or two turns get the most activations of the copied effect. Reserve Companions with powerful effects but high Counters can act as templates without actually needing to fight.

Look for Companions that apply Shroom, Snow, Spice, or strong heals as copy targets. These scale well with repeated application and define powerful archetypes.
