Rating

B-tier HP-transfer tank with ceiling limited by targeting randomness. When Berry Sis is hit, she transfers the HP she loses from that hit to a random ally as permanent HP increase. Take 5 damage: a random ally gains +5 max HP permanently. Berry Sis at full 8 HP and 2 Attack at Counter 3 also contributes direct damage while absorbing hits.

The power: the total HP transferred across a fight equals the total damage Berry Sis absorbs, up to her 8 HP max. An enemy hitting her for 8 damage in one hit = a random ally gains +8 HP. Multiple smaller hits = multiple smaller HP grants distributed across random allies. In a run where Monch is the primary carry, any ally that receives HP from Berry Sis gives Monch more absorption material to eat.

B-tier floor: the random ally targeting. In a 3-companion party, Berry Sis's HP transfers hit the right target only 33% of the time. In a 1-companion party, every transfer goes to the correct target. Small-party compositions with high-value single carries are Berry Sis's ideal context.

How to Use

Front row for Berry Sis — her passive only fires when she's hit, and HP 8 + Counter 3 (frequent direct damage) makes her a functional tank. Let enemies hit her; each hit transfers damage to a random ally's HP pool.

Reduce party size to improve targeting odds. With one primary damage carry and Berry Sis, every HP transfer from Berry Sis goes to that one carry. Monch in a different row + Berry Sis front row: every Berry Sis hit gives Monch more HP for future eat events.

Healing Berry Sis between hits increases total HP transferred potential. Bonnie's Reaction restoring 2 HP to all allies after hits means Berry Sis can absorb damage again — cycling her HP back up to transfer more on the next hit. The heal cycle: Berry Sis takes hit (transfers HP) → Bonnie heals Berry Sis back up → Berry Sis takes another hit (transfers more HP).

HP charms on Berry Sis increase her total transferable HP ceiling. 8 HP → 12 HP means she can transfer up to 12 HP total across a fight before falling.

Advanced Techniques

Monch row + Berry Sis transfer targeting. With Monch as the only other active companion (Egg and sacrificeable allies placed in Monch's row separately), every Berry Sis HP transfer goes to Monch. Each transfer permanently increases Monch's HP, which Monch then absorbs when he eats allies in his row — Monch's HP grows from both Berry Sis transfers and from eating, compounding to massive HP values.

Bonnie + Berry Sis cycle. Bonnie's Reaction restores HP after allies are hit. Each time Berry Sis is hit and transfers HP, Bonnie heals Berry Sis back toward full. Berry Sis can then absorb another hit and transfer more HP. The cycle sustains Berry Sis's transfer function across extended fights.

Good Synergy Cards & Charms

  • Monch — HP transfers land on Monch when he's the sole non-sacrificeable ally; Berry Sis feeds Monch's HP scaling
  • Bonnie — heals Berry Sis after each hit, resetting her HP to absorb more transfers in the same fight
  • HP-up charms — raises Berry Sis's max HP ceiling, increasing total HP transferable per fight
  • Small party composition — fewer allies = higher probability each transfer lands on the intended carry
