Bonnie
Basic Info
- Tribe: Shademancers
- Attack: 4
- HP: 4
- Counter: 0
- Effect: Reaction: Restore 2 Health and Cleanse all allies
Rating
A-tier dual-function support. Bonnie's Reaction restores 2 HP and Cleanses (removes all debuffs) from every ally simultaneously. Shademancers is a sacrifice-heavy tribe where allies frequently take damage through sacrifice loops, self-damage effects, and front-line exposure — Bonnie's Reaction stabilizes the board after each such event. Her 4 Attack also makes her a genuine attacker, not a pure utility companion, which means she contributes offense while providing healing.
The Cleanse component is underrated. Boss encounters often inflict stacking debuffs (Shroom, Snow, Weakness) on your entire party. Bonnie wipes those debuffs party-wide in a single trigger, which can be the difference between a wipeable state and a recovered board. She's particularly valuable in high-debuff Act 3 boss rooms.
How to Use
Bonnie's Counter 0 means she's a Reaction card: she fires when a specific trigger condition is met (likely when an ally is hit or when the player uses an item — verify against current build). She does not fire on a timer. This makes her independently useful across fight types without requiring active management.
Place Bonnie in a mid or rear position. Her 4 HP means she can't sustain front-line exposure. Let her Reaction fire repeatedly during fights, maintaining ally HP from sacrifice losses and debuffs.
Dregg benefits most from Bonnie's healing. Dregg's Summoned keyword drains his HP each activation, and Bonnie's Reaction restoring 2 HP per trigger can significantly extend his survivability window. With multiple Reaction triggers per fight, Dregg's Summoned drain is partially offset.
Taiga's Teeth accumulation also benefits — Taiga absorbs hits to stack Teeth, and Bonnie's Reaction restores the HP Taiga loses while doing so, keeping him in the front row for more stack events.
Advanced Techniques
Bonnie + Dregg = extended Summoned clock. Each Bonnie Reaction that fires gives Dregg 2 HP back. In a fight with 4 Reaction triggers, Dregg effectively gains 8 HP of restoration against his HP drain, nearly doubling his activation window.
Cleanse at a critical debuff threshold. If Shroom is stacking on multiple allies, hold a turn if possible before triggering Bonnie's Reaction to wipe it simultaneously across the board. Bonnie's Cleanse covers the whole team in one event.
