Rating

S-tier scaling engine. Mini Mika starts at 2 Attack and Counter 5 — modest stats — but permanently gains x1 Frenzy each time she is hit with a Junk card. In a Clunkmaster run generating consistent Junk, she reaches x3 or x4 Frenzy within the first few fights and scales from there. At x5 Frenzy with 8 Attack (from charms and Spice), she deals 40 damage per Counter activation. The community calls her explicitly S-tier: "Easy Frenzy scaling means boosts go way farther with spice/attack."

The multiplier is the key: every point of Attack she gains from Spice or charms is multiplied by her Frenzy count. +2 Attack on a x4 Frenzy Mini Mika is +8 effective DPS per activation, not +2. This compounding growth is why late-game Mini Mika is a legitimate boss-killer even when her base Attack investment looks modest early.

How to Use

The priority is twofold: accumulate Junk hits to grow her Frenzy, and invest Attack charms/Spice into her so that Frenzy multiplier has a meaningful base to work with.

Junk hits come naturally in Clunkmaster runs — Scaven's Trash, Folby's passive generation, and enemy-produced Junk all contribute. Junk items directed at Mini Mika manually also stack Frenzy. In aggressive Junk economies, she can reach x5 or x6 Frenzy by Act 2 Boss.

Once Frenzy is established, any Attack boost compounds. Blaze Tea, Lumin Ring on another attacker feeding her Spice, direct Attack charms — all of these are more efficient on Mini Mika than on any other companion because she hits with that many more attacks. A Battle Charm (+2 Attack) on x4 Mini Mika adds 8 effective damage per turn, not 2.

Counter 5 is the only drag on her timeline. Counter-reduction charms are worth prioritizing to accelerate how many activations she gets per fight.

Advanced Techniques

Spice is her best stat. Spice stacks increase Attack temporarily but re-apply at consistent rates. On x5 Mini Mika with 5 Spice active, she's effectively hitting 35+ damage per activation. Spice sources (Spice Flasks, Spice-generating allies) are top priority to complement her Frenzy.

Mama Tinkerson + Mini Mika. Mama Tinkerson's "x2 Frenzy to all Clunkers while active" aura doubles Mini Mika's existing Frenzy multiplier. x4 Mini Mika under Mama Tinkerson's aura becomes x8 effectively. This combination clears Act 3 content before the second enemy turn.

Counter-reduction charms matter more here than on any other companion. With Counter 5, each activation is 5 turns apart without reduction. At Counter 3, she fires almost twice as often, which doubles total fight damage. Prioritize counter charms on Mini Mika above almost anything else once Frenzy is established.

She doesn't need to be hit often — just consistently. Even 1–2 Junk hits per fight will compound over a full run. Don't force Junk exposure at the cost of losing her — prioritize her survival equally with her Junk income.

  • Scaven — generates Junk consistently; reliable source of Frenzy growth every few turns
  • Mama Tinkerson — doubles effective Frenzy while she's alive; the highest-ceiling Mini Mika pairing
  • Counter-reduction charms — Mini Mika's biggest limiting factor; reducing Counter 5 to 3 nearly doubles total fight output
  • Attack charms / Blaze Tea — each Attack point is multiplied by her Frenzy count; Attack investment compounds
  • Spice sources — Spice is the cleanest Attack multiplier for Mini Mika's Frenzy math
