A-tier Junk-to-draw conversion engine. Needle destroys all Junk in hand on each activation and draws 1 card for each Junk destroyed. In Clunkmasters, Junk accumulates as Clunkers die — each dead Clunker adds Junk to your hand, clogging draws with useless cards. Needle directly solves this: three Junk in hand on Needle's Counter 4 activation = three Junk destroyed, three fresh cards drawn. Hand quality resets instantly per Needle fire.
At 3 Attack and Counter 4, Needle also deals solid direct damage. She's not a pure utility pick — she contributes meaningful attack damage while converting Junk each activation. The two functions are entirely independent: even if your hand has no Junk, Needle attacks for 3. If your hand has 5 Junk, Needle attacks for 3 AND draws 5.
Kreggo combo: Junk destruction counts as card destruction. Needle destroying 3 Junk = Kreggo gains +3 Attack from destroy triggers. Kreggo + Needle together convert Junk accumulation into Kreggo Attack scaling while simultaneously clearing Needle's hand of those same Junk.
How to Use
Mid row for Needle — 7 HP is moderate, and her value is consistent activation, not front-row tanking. Counter 4 fires at solid speed, clearing Junk and drawing replacement cards regularly through fights.
Let Junk accumulate between fights rather than playing Junk cards manually to remove them. Needle processes Junk in bulk per activation — three Junk removed and replaced is better than playing one Junk card per turn over three turns. Save the Junk for Needle's fire.
Counter-reduction is Needle's highest-value charm: Counter 3 Needle clears Junk and resets hand quality 33% faster than Counter 4, keeping draw quality high throughout longer fights.
Advanced Techniques
Kreggo + Needle scaling chain. Each Needle activation destroying N Junk gives Kreggo +N permanent Attack. In a run where Clunkers die frequently (generating Junk) and Needle fires every 4 turns, Kreggo might gain +2–4 Attack per fight purely from Junk destruction events. After 3 fights, Kreggo's base Attack could be 10+ from Junk-destruction scaling alone.
Blundertank Junk generation + Needle clearing. If Blundertank or other Junk-generating companions produce Junk during fights, Needle's next activation clears the entire Junk accumulation and draws the same number of replacement cards. The Junk → Needle pipeline makes high-Junk generation runs sustainable.
