B-tier positional Spice amplifier. Pyra applies Spice 4 to the ally behind her via Reaction — no counter, no activation window, just Spice 4 whenever her Reaction trigger fires. The value depends entirely on who is behind her and how much they benefit from Attack multiplication. Behind Foxee (x3 Frenzy): Spice 4 = effectively +12 damage per Foxee activation. Behind Tiny Tyko at x5 Frenzy: Spice 4 = +20 damage. She's a positioning-dependent amplifier, not a standalone carry.
Her 4 Attack at Counter 0 (Reaction) means she contributes offensive output when her own Counter resolves, but the primary value is the Reaction Spice. B-tier reflects that her output is conditional on having the right companion behind her — she enables other cards more than she performs alone.
How to Use
Pyra's positioning determines her value. The ally directly behind her receives every Spice 4 trigger. Draft the companion you want Pyra to boost first, then position Pyra one step in front of them.
The ideal Pyra targets:
- Foxee (x3 Frenzy): Spice 4 × 3 hits = 12 bonus damage per Counter 3 activation
- Tiny Tyko (x2+ Frenzy): Spice 4 × Frenzy count = growing burst as Tyko stacks Frenzy from hits
- Any x2 Frenzy attacker: Spice 4 × 2 = 8 bonus damage per activation
Pimento companions convert Spice from temporary to permanent — if Pimento is in the run, Pyra's Spice 4 becomes a permanent +4 Attack to the target each trigger, compounding rapidly.
Fulbert placed behind Pyra converts Spice income into Shroom output — each Spice 4 application to Fulbert sends Shroom 4 to a random enemy. This creates a passive Shroom engine from Pyra triggers alone.
Advanced Techniques
Pyra behind Foxee = simplest Spice combo. No special setup: place Foxee behind Pyra, let Pyra's Reaction fire, each Foxee activation deals (1+4 Spice) × 3 = 15 damage. Straightforward, reliable, significant damage uplift.
Pyra + Pimento = permanent stacking. Pimento prevents Spice from being consumed on attack. Each Pyra trigger adds permanent Attack to the target. Over 5 triggers, the target has +20 permanent Attack from Pyra alone.
Good Synergy Cards & Charms
- Foxee — x3 Frenzy makes Spice 4 worth 12 bonus damage per activation; the natural Pyra partner
- Tiny Tyko — growing Frenzy count multiplies Pyra's Spice 4 further as Tyko accumulates hits
- Pimento — converts Pyra's temporary Spice into permanent Attack gain each trigger
- Fulbert — placed behind Pyra, Spice 4 on Fulbert converts to Shroom 4 on a random enemy per trigger
- Any x2 Frenzy attacker — Pyra's Spice 4 is always worth at least +8 damage per activation with any Frenzy carrier
