Overview

  • HP: 42-48 per segment (Ascension: 48-56)
  • Act: Shared (multiple Acts)
  • Passive: Regenerate — as long as another segment survives, a killed segment fully revives after 2 turns

A special elite made of multiple segments. Each individual segment has only 42-48 HP, but any death triggers revival 2 turns later if another segment lives. You effectively must kill every segment near-simultaneously — AoE availability massively shifts the fight's difficulty.

Each segment acts independently, so attack volume scales with segment count. Individual damage is 5-8, but total per turn stacks up fast.

Strategy

  • Regenerate is the key gimmick. Single-target removal just resurrects — AoE that keeps HP even across segments and kills them together is mandatory.
  • Ideally keep HP pools near-equal so one AoE kills everything. Use single-target only to level HP across segments.
  • Revival is 2 turns. If you can kill remaining segments within 2 turns of the first kill, individual removal works — impractical with many segments.
  • Low per-segment HP means AoE trivializes the fight. Without AoE you spiral into revive loops.
  • More segments = more total damage per turn. Block alone can't keep up — thinning the count quickly is defense too.

Character Tips

  • Ironclad: Whirlwind and similar AoE is the top answer. Even HP chipping followed by a finishing AoE.
  • Silent: AoE Poison closes the fight with simultaneous lethal Poison. Knife-based AoE also works.
  • Defect: Random-target Lightning orb AoE is excellent. Line up orbs for continuous AoE.
  • Necrobinder: Minion attacks spread targets, so AoE cards are important. Pure minion play struggles to level HP.
  • Regent: AoE damage Powers trivialize this fight. Power DoT keeps HP even across segments naturally.
