A buff-focused elite that shouts War Cry to buff up before attacking. The opening move being a buff turns that window into an obvious damage opportunity. HP 101 is standard for an elite — a decent damage deck can finish it before the buffs matter.

After War Cry stacks Strength, it follows up with Flail and Charge. Post-buff, Flail's 9 and Charge's 15 each gain Strength as bonus damage, so more buffs mean more incoming damage.

Strategy Points

  • War Cry turns are the biggest damage windows since no attack is incoming. Skip Block entirely and swing hard. Damage here sets the tempo of the whole fight
  • HP 101 is within speed-kill range. Killing it over the War Cry turn plus the next turn means barely eating any buff damage
  • Charge's 15 can break 20 with buffs. When Charge is intended, stack enough Block
  • Flail at 9 is light without buffs, but after 2 War Cries it's 15+. Don't slack on defense after buffs stack
  • Weak offsets the buff scaling. One Weak can effectively nullify the Strength boost in some cases
  • In multi-enemy fights, War Cry may buff the whole group. Focus on removing one target first
