Recommended Choice
"Accept the Spirit" is the better pick in most situations. The fusion takes two cards and turns them into one, giving you deck compression and an Upgrade in a single action. Fuse two dead cards and your deck loses one slot while gaining a fresh Upgraded card.
50 Gold is a stable reward, but it falls short compared to compression plus Upgrade in one event. Since shop removal costs 75 Gold, the fusion essentially delivers more value than a paid removal for free.
Strategy
- The fusion targets should be your two most useless cards. Starter cards like Strike and Defend get priority if they are still in the deck
- The resulting card is Upgraded, so it is combat-ready. Think of it as a guaranteed upgrade over the two inputs
- If your deck is bloated and cycling poorly, the compression alone is huge. Key-card rotation improves
- If the deck is close to finished and you have no unwanted cards to fuse, taking 50 Gold is reasonable. You do not need to sacrifice important cards
- 50 Gold jumps in value if an Act 2 shop is close. You can immediately funnel it into a Relic or card removal
