A reliable Common potion with solid defensive output. You get 12 Block instantly without spending Energy, letting you funnel all your Energy into attacks while still covering defense. Simple, but it almost never feels useless.

In early Act 1, enemy attacks often land around 12 damage, so a single cast can completely absorb a turn's worth of damage. Keeping it as insurance for turns where no Block cards appear in hand is reassuring. It's especially valuable for slow-setup decks, since it lets you mitigate early damage for free.

Being Common means you'll see it often, so keeping one on hand whenever you have a slot is solid practice. In Act 3+, enemy damage will often exceed 12, but used alongside Block cards it still contributes meaningfully to reducing damage taken. A stable A-tier potion.
