Boss Guide
Strategies and preparation for each boss
Boss Overview
Each Noita biome has at least one fixed boss. Defeating bosses can drop powerful Orbs and rare wands. While not mandatory, Orb count affects the ending route, so aim to defeat every boss if you're chasing completion.
Early Threats: Hisi Elites and Slimes
The Coal Pits do not have a fixed boss. However, elite Hisi enemies and large slime variants can appear and pose a serious threat to under-equipped players. Use vertical shafts and attack from range to avoid direct contact.
1. Mestarien Mestari (Master of Masters)
Location: Throne Room inside Wizards' Den Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
Attack Patterns
- High-speed charge (straight line, toward player)
- Spread of 3–5 explosive projectiles
- Brief stop after each charge (attack window)
Strategy
- Fight in a tall vertical room — use height to dodge explosive spread
- Jump upward when it charges
- Burst DPS during the brief stop after each charge
- Hug walls to control the angle of the explosive fan
Recommended Gear
- Piercing projectiles
- Explosion Immunity perk
- Levitation perk for aerial mobility
2. Lukki Mestari (Spider Master)
Location: Jungle (Underground 5–6) Difficulty: ★★★★☆
Attack Patterns
- Wall and ceiling movement (ignores gravity)
- Wide-area slime webs that restrict movement
- Multi-leg contact damage
Strategy
- Toxin Immunity is effectively required (slime often contains poison)
- Fight from high ground to avoid floor slime
- Keep maximum range; use long-reach spells (Magic Arrow, Wave)
- Levitation lets you match its vertical movement
Recommended Gear
- Toxin Immunity perk
- Levitation perk
- High-range, fast-firing wand
3. Ylialkemisti (Great Alchemist)
Location: Fixed spawn in the Abandoned Alchemy Lab, reachable from the Snowy Wastes on the surface. Difficulty: ★★★★☆
Attack Patterns
- Powerful beam attack (near-instant kill)
- Flask throws (explosive projectile vials)
- Sprays liquid across the room
Strategy
- Take cover behind walls to break line of sight during beam attacks
- Move quickly at long range to dodge flask throws
- Telekinesis perk lets you grab flasks mid-air and send them back
- Focus all damage into one high-DPS explosive wand
4. Final Boss: Kolmisilmä
Location: The Laboratory Difficulty: ★★★★★
A massive spider-like creature and the game's final boss. It fights across multiple phases, combining omnidirectional projectile barrages with lava, poison, and explosion attacks.
Attack Patterns
- Multi-phase (form changes at HP thresholds)
- Omnidirectional high-speed projectile burst
- Lava, explosion, and toxic liquid barrage
- Continuous spawns of minions
Strategy
- Minimum: Explosion + Toxin + Fire Immunity before entering
- Clear minions as a priority — being overwhelmed leads to death
- One very high-DPS wand (30+ shots/s) focused entirely on the boss
- Pre-plan an escape route for phase transitions
Recommended Perks
| Perk | Reason |
|---|---|
| Explosion Immunity | Handles most projectiles |
| Toxin Immunity | Poison liquid barrage |
| Fire Immunity | Lava and fire attacks |
| Regeneration | Sustain over long fight |
| Levitation | Projectile evasion |
