Paired with X-cost cards like Tempest or Multi-Cast, X skyrockets and the turn can end the fight on the spot. With Double Energy, the chain Supercritical -> Double Energy hands you an absurd pile of energy. It is routinely one of the best single cards in Defect combo decks.

How to Use

  • Save for your big X-cost turn — Tempest / Multi-Cast — to max out X
  • Chain Supercritical -> Double Energy for a huge energy surplus
  • Don't waste it on small turns; hold for the key combo turn of a boss fight
  • Playing it on a 0-energy turn effectively nets you the full 4 energy for free
