Rating
A Cost 1 Attack dealing 10 damage (12 upgraded), granting +3-4 Max HP on lethal — a unique Exude attack. Max HP increase is a rare effect, and landing lethal each time stacks permanent survivability. Against multi-enemy fights, every kill triggers HP gain, so Feed is especially effective against elites and multi-enemy rooms en route to bosses. Exude prevents repeat use in a fight, but HP-consumption builds can run it to offset lost Max HP. Feed's Cost 1 pairs strong raw damage with unique HP growth.
How to Use
Use it on low-HP enemies to secure the kill and gain Max HP. Killing elites and trash with Feed means entering later boss fights with extra Max HP. In HP-consumption builds (Bloodletting, Hemokinesis, Crimson Robe), where Max HP gradually drops, Feed's kill-HP offsets the attrition. Its Exude also triggers Exude synergy (Ash Strike, Evil Eye, Feel No Pain). Running multiple Feeds lets you farm Max HP through the run, building late-game durability.
Good Synergies
- Bloodletting / Hemokinesis: HP-loss cards. In HP-consumption builds, Feed's kill-HP backfills the Max HP drain.
- Crimson Robe: Turn-start HP-loss Power. Feed replenishes HP each fight to offset the per-turn HP cost.
- Feel No Pain: Power granting Block on Exude. Feed's Exude triggers automatic Block.
- Ash Strike: Exude-count scaling Attack. Feed's Exude boosts Ash Strike's count.
- Inflame / Demon Form: Strength buff powers. Strength rides Feed's 10-12 damage, making kills more reliable.
