Rating

A Skill that dumps your hand and returns that many Shivs. The more hand size, the more Shivs — it shines in heavy-draw decks. Five cards in hand nets 5 Shivs for 1 Energy, and combined with Finisher or Accuracy that spikes damage massively. Upgraded to 0 cost, it's a free Shiv engine that doesn't eat Energy. The classic flow is max-draw first (Acrobatics, Dexterous Craft), then Storm of Steel. A core Skill in Shiv decks.

How to Use

  • Max out hand size first (Acrobatics, Escape Plan, Dexterous Craft) before Storm of Steel.
  • Paired with Finisher, Storm of Steel generates mass Shivs then Finisher finishes for huge damage.
  • With Accuracy running, each Shiv gains +4 damage — 5 Shivs means +20 damage on top.
  • Upgraded to 0 cost, converting the hand into Shivs leaves Energy for other cards.
  • With Blade Flurry, Shivs hit all enemies — massive AoE from generated Shivs.

Synergies / Deck Types

  • Finisher: Attacks played this turn x6-9 damage. Storm of Steel generates Shivs, Finisher closes for a huge hit.
  • Accuracy: Shivs deal +4 damage. Every Shiv from Storm of Steel is buffed, raising total output.
  • Acrobatics: 0-cost mass draw. Max hand, then Storm of Steel to convert — the gold-standard Shiv combo.
  • Dexterous Craft: refill to 6-7. Maximize hand right before Storm of Steel for max Shiv output.

Pick Priority

  • Act 1 early: Mid. Without Shiv-leveraging cards (Accuracy, Finisher) the effect is limited.
  • Act 1 late: High. Once the Shiv direction is set, lock it in as a core piece.
  • Act 2+: Top priority in Shiv decks. Combined with Accuracy or Blade Flurry, damage goes through the roof.
  • Boss reward: Deck-dependent. Top priority for Shiv decks, skip otherwise.
