Devicro

When an ally is Sacrificed, gain their Attack

Devicro

Basic Info

  • Tribe: Shademancers
  • Attack: 2
  • HP: 7
  • Counter: 3
  • Effect: When an ally is Sacrificed, gain their Attack (permanent)

Rating

A-tier sacrifice payoff. Devicro permanently absorbs the Attack value of any ally that is sacrificed while he's on the board. Chikichi at 2 Attack gives +2. Chikani at 4 Attack gives +4. Each link of the Chikichi chain sacrificed under Devicro builds toward a Devicro with 20+ Attack by fight end. At Counter 3, he fires fast enough to convert those accumulated Attack stacks into consistent heavy hits.

His dependence on sacrifice frequency is the limiting factor — in runs without reliable sacrifice triggers, he doesn't scale. With Skull Mist Tea and the Chikichi chain, he's often the run's primary damage dealer by Act 2.

How to Use

Devicro needs to be on the board when sacrifices happen. Crown him if you plan to run a sacrifice-heavy deck — he must be in play from fight start to capture every trigger.

The setup order: get Chikichi and at least one sacrifice trigger (Skull Mist Tea, Punchfist Charm source, etc.) before investing in Devicro. Without sacrifice income, Devicro stays at 2 Attack indefinitely. With even 3–4 sacrifices across early fights, he reaches 10+ Attack before Act 2 boss.

The Chikichi chain under Devicro is the maximum configuration. Chikichi sacrificed → +2 Attack. Chikani sacrificed → +4 Attack (each Shade has higher base Attack). Chain all five Shades in one fight for potentially +2+4+6+8+10 Attack in a single combat. Combined with Counter 3, Devicro can realistically clear Act 2 with 30+ Attack.

Advanced Techniques

Crown Devicro, not Chikichi. Devicro on the board from turn one captures every sacrifice trigger. Chikichi's Crown is wasted — his value is as sacrifice material, not a combat unit.

Devicro with 20+ Attack at Counter 3 clears most non-boss fights in one swing. The compounding arithmetic means early sacrifice investment pays off faster than any offensive charm would.

Lumin Ring on a Spice source, not on Devicro directly. Devicro's Attack comes from absorption, not from stat boosts. Better to invest charms in ensuring he survives (HP charms) and that more sacrifices happen (sacrifice trigger items).

HP 7 and Counter 3 make him viable even before scaling. Unlike fragile sacrifice payoffs, Devicro can front-line early while still accumulating Attack. This makes him a genuine early-game contributor, not just a late-game payoff.

Good Synergy Cards & Charms

  • Chikichi — the sacrifice chain can generate +2+4+6+8+10 cumulative Attack for Devicro in one fight
  • Skull Mist Tea — on-demand sacrifice trigger; ensures Devicro absorbs Attack on the exact turn you need
  • Punchfist Charm — adds Attack to all allies when a sacrifice happens, compounding with Devicro's own gain
  • HP-up charms on Devicro — keeping him alive longer means more sacrifice triggers captured
  • Counter-reduction charms — faster Devicro fires his accumulated Attack more per fight
