Rating

A-tier conditional carry, S-tier in Snow-heavy builds. Wallop deals 4 base Attack plus 8 bonus damage to any Snow'd enemy — 12 total per hit against a Snow'd target. This is one of the highest single-hit damage values for a standard companion in Snowdwellers without any charm investment. The condition is simply: the target must have any Snow. In a Snowdweller deck built around Snow application (Snoof, Snoffel, Storm Globe, Blizzard Bottle), Wallop reliably hits for 12 every Counter 4 activation.

Without Snow support, he deals 4 damage — average at best. His tier rating assumes Snow availability, which Snowdweller decks provide naturally.

How to Use

Ensure Snow application before Wallop fires. Snow sources need to act before Wallop's Counter resolves: Snoof (targeted Snow 1) fires at Counter 3, Snoffel (zone Snow) fires at Counter 3, meaning both apply Snow before Wallop's Counter 4 activation with no coordination effort.

Position Wallop in a non-front row for longevity. HP 9 is solid, but he's the damage carry — losing him reduces output dramatically. Let front-row tanks absorb hits while Wallop fires from behind.

Counter 4 fires at moderate speed. Counter-reduction to Counter 3 makes Wallop fire nearly twice as frequently, which is the highest-priority charm investment. Attack charms stack with the bonus: at 6 Attack + Snow condition: 6+8 = 14 damage per activation.

The synergy with Barrage (or zone attack charms): if Wallop attacks all enemies, and all enemies have Snow from Storm Globe, every enemy takes 12 damage in one Wallop activation. That clears most wave fights completely.

Advanced Techniques

Wallop + Storm Globe = instant wave clear. Storm Globe applies Snow to all enemies. With any Snow on all enemies, Wallop's next activation deals 12 to the targeted enemy. With Barrage charm, Wallop attacks all enemies — 12 damage to every Snow'd target in one Counter 4 activation wipes wave fights.

Snow stick timing: apply Snow immediately before Wallop fires. If using a Snow item, watch Wallop's counter. Apply Snow when his counter reaches 1 — that way Snow is guaranteed to be present when he attacks, regardless of enemy counter activity that might burn Snow off.

  • Yuki — Yuki scales from Snow; Snow applied for Wallop's benefit simultaneously feeds Yuki's Attack growth
