Kick out with both legs to create a large advancing whirlwind. Movements or special moves that make contact with the whirlwind will have their properties changed.
Evaluation
One of the best Super Arts in SF6. When activated mid-screen, the opponent is guaranteed to be pushed to the corner. It is difficult to choose an effective counter, and a skilled Rashid will break through almost any defense.
How to Use
Used mid-screen to force corner carry. Damage after hit scales with Rashid's remaining Drive Gauge: roughly +1000 damage per 2 bars spent.
- 0 bars: ~2000 damage
- 2 bars: ~3000 damage
- 4 bars: ~4000 damage
How to Counter
Depending on your own and the opponent's gauge situation, the recommended option is to jump forward and intentionally take the Ysaar hit in the air. You may take 2000–4000 damage, but this trades better than being cornered while Ysaar is used as a shield to chip 2–4 bars of Drive Gauge, or taking two throw sequences for 1200 damage each.
There is also a chance the opponent drops the Ysaar pickup.
If you don't have a solid defensive understanding of Ysaar, try walking into it proactively.
When Ysaar feels imminent, it is also very important to use an in-place tech and then walk-parry forward to absorb it.
